Whether you are a local resident or a visitor to Mendocino County, the landscape captures all of us. Inland Mendocino County offers impressive oak woodlands and rolling grasslands. Heading west, majestic forests of old-growth and second-growth redwoods cover the mountain wilderness. Coastal Mendocino County offers breathtaking coastlines, estuaries and beaches. Throughout all of these areas, exceptional wildlife and plant life flourish.
