Volunteers are the energetic, spirited heart of Mendocino Land Trust and are involved in much of the work we do. If you are interested in volunteering in any way, we need your help. From working outside caring for our preserves to indoor business-related tasks, we can find an opportunity for you. Contact our Operations Manager Megan Smithyman, and she can connect you to the right person.
OUTSIDE ON THE LAND
- Monthly Stewardship Days -- Navarro Point, Hare Creek Beach, and Pelican Bluffs– see our events page for ongoing workdays on the land.
- Coastal Cleanup Day
- Spring Bird Surveys
- Photography -- send us your best photos when you are out exploring our saved lands.
IN THE OFFICE
- Office help – We have the regular need for help with mailings, and many hands make light work. We’ll even provide goodies!
- If you have a professional skill that you’d like to volunteer such as editing, event planning, grant writing, etc., please contact our executive director Ann Cole at firstname.lastname@example.org.
