2025 Internships
We are looking for the next generation of California land conservationists.
Dreaming of summer adventures? MLT is offering two paid summer internships for college students who want an immersive work experience with a small, dynamic staff of dedicated conservation professionals. Interns will work with our Stewardship team on a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to: stewardship of trails and preserves, new trail planning and construction, habitat restoration, volunteer events, mapping, monitoring, research, report writing, and outreach. The 10-week program runs from mid-June to mid-August and offers a $6,600 stipend, less a $600 housing and utilities cost for our rustic accommodations. This internship will take you out on the trails from the Lost Coast to Pelican Bluffs to points inland, and leave you with skills and experiences to chart your own future in conservation and land protection. Our home office is in Fort Bragg, CA, on the spectacular Mendocino Coast.
