Spectacular Outdoor Sites for Special Events
The Mendocino Land Trust manages several spectacular sites available for public access and occasional special event reservations. Our most popular wedding site is the Mendocino Bay Viewpoint just south of the village of Mendocino. Event permits may be issued at other MLT properties, subject to approval.

Mendocino Bay Viewpoint
The Mendocino Bay Viewpoint offers breathtaking views of Mendocino Village, the mouth of Big River and the Pacific Ocean. It is a stunning place for a wedding ceremony. This one-of-a-kind setting feels both intimate and wild, but is still close to Mendocino Village. Please note parking is limited to 10 vehicles.
Seaside Beach
Located 10 miles north of Fort Bragg, Seaside Beach is located just off Highway 1. The beach is sandy and has stunning views enhanced by picturesque offshore rocks. Parking is very limited at this public beach, making it appropriate for micro-weddings and small family gatherings. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee parking or exclusive use of the site.
